Head of Recreational (GFA) Gymnastics

Coaching Opportunity, Tauranga, Bay of Plenty

ARGOS Gymsport is the largest gymnastics club in the region offering a variety of gymnastic codes to all ages and abilities. ARGOS is seeking to employ an excellent candidate to Head our vibrant and expanding GFA programme

Successful applicants will have: 

  • Minimum 5 years coaching experience
  • Hold a current GNZ coaching qualification (or equivalent)  
  • Good all-round knowledge of gymnastics and skill progressions and a desire to continually develop own knowledge
  • Ability to plan and manage a GFA Programme
  • Experience coordinating and mentoring Junior coaches
  • Excellent communication skills with children and adults
  • An overall positive attitude and passion for the sport of gymnastics
  • Proven ability to work as a key member of a team
  • Dedication to ensuring safe working practises

Hours and remuneration rate are dependent upon experience, qualifications, role and responsibilities
